Building Envelope Professionals Group, LLC (BEPG) is a professional building envelope consulting firm focused on providing roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall consulting services to owners of existing buildings and to new construction project teams. BEPG was founded in January, 2017 by Thomas (Tom) M. Gernetzke, RBEC, FRCI, Principal Consultant and Owner. While primarily practicing in the upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa), BEPG currently has contracts and agreements with clients covering all 50 states.
BEPG is routinely involved with complex building envelope assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation projects often exceeding $2M in construction cost. BEPG has also provided quality assurance, testing, and related building envelope quality services on new construction projects exceeding $150M in construction cost. BEPG specializes in assembling and leading projects teams in order to complete rehabilitation projects impacting all facets of the building envelope. Project teams have consisted of architects, landscape architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, indoor air quality / environmental consulting firms, cost estimators, and construction managers.
BEPG routinely provides services for government / municipal, institutional, schools, office, commercial / industrial, worship, historical, multi-family, and retail clients. BEPG also enjoys providing services to architectural firms, general contractors, and specialty contractor firms.
