Building Envelope Professionals Group, LLC was selected and retained by the City of Jefferson to assess and diagnose multiple problems with the city’s Police and Utility Building. Known problems included poorly functioning HVAC systems, roof, wall, and window leaks, interior odor issues, and poor indoor air quality. After completion of the assessment and recommendations, BEPG was retained to lead the design team through design and construction of the remedial renovations.
The design team included a consulting architect, landscape architect, MEP engineer, indoor air quality and mold consultant, and civil engineer. General repairs include sub-slab moisture remediation, interior finishes remediation, concrete floor slab repairs, new floor finishes, HVAC system modifications, building envelope over-cladding, window replacement, and roofing replacement.
