Leak Testing & Investigation Services for University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh

BEPG, a leading provider of leak testing and investigation services, was obtained by American Design, Inc., an architecture firm, to assist in providing these services for a student recreation center and gymnasium at the University of Wisconsin in the City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The facility was constructed in 2008 and has had ongoing moisture infiltration issues since occupancy. As a result of numerous leaks, BEPG was contracted to perform a roof condition assessment and moisture survey and conduct leak investigation and assessment services at two main locations. Contractors and other consultants have reviewed these locations previously but with no resolution, highlighting the need for an expert perspective.

BEPG’s comprehensive engagement involved conducting ASTM standard diagnostic spray testing and removing elements of the enclosure, including curtain wall systems, masonry brick veneer, sealant control joints, roof-to-wall sheet metal counterflashing, masonry through wall flashings at the top of curtain wall systems, precast stone veneer masonry, and sheet metal coping caps.

Leak Testing and Investigation Services Provided:

  • Roof Condition Assessment and Moisture Survey
  • Leak Investigation and Assessment involving spray testing and removing enclosure elements
